Prince William and Duchess Kate use the days before Christmas to say thank you – with a very special video.

Prince William (38) and Duchess Kate (38) inspire at the end of the Corona year 2020 with a special Christmas message. The royal couple published a two-and-a-half-minute video on Instagram with which they wanted to "spread a little Christmas magic". The pictures were taken last Friday (December 11th) when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, together with their children, Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (5) and Prince Louis (2), performed a performance at the London Palladium Theater visited.

Notable things can happen

The video is a thank you to all workers in systemically important professions. The theater performance was held last week in their honor. The content of the video: The workers and their families arrive at the red carpet of the theater where Santa Claus and elves are waiting for them. They are excited to receive this year's Christmas wishes from the children. Later, distracted by the hustle and bustle on stage, the visitors do not notice how the elves get to work.

The longed-for toys are bought in the nearby department store, so that at the end of the performance there is great astonishment. Prince William and Duchess Kate comment on the event with a rewritten version of the Christmas poem "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Clement Clarke Moore (1779-1863). Their voices can be heard alternately as they read the appropriate rhymes. Then comes her conclusion: "The moral of history, which is more true today than ever, is that remarkable things happen when we all work together."
