Prince William and Duchess Kate: Royals set an example for mental health

Prince William (37) and Duchess Kate (38) support their compatriots in the Corona crisis with a new health initiative. As reported, among other things, "The Telegraph", the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said in a statement that the mental well-being of the people during the coronavirus pandemic is important. The nation's mental health should therefore be improved since the past few weeks have been "worrying and worrying for everyone".

The new initiative of the health service "Public Health England" (PHE) is intended to offer people an orientation aid for their own well-being. This would include, among other things, healthy sleeping habits, a new hobby and contact with familiar people via social media. "We have to take the time to support each other and find ways to take care of our mental health," the statement said.

William and Kate appeal for cohesion

The Duke and Duchess said about the campaign's new goals on their Instagram channel: "If we pull together and take simple steps every day, we can all be better prepared for the time ahead."

William and Kate recently visited a corona call center in London, where they thanked the staff who answered the public's worried calls.
