Prince William and Duchess Kate visited an ambulance in east London. Also to find out how the rescue workers are psychologically.

Prince William, 38, and Duchess Kate, 39, visited Newham Ambulance Station in east London on Thursday to learn how the rescue workers are mentally doing during the pandemic. The royal couple wanted to know how paramedics and ambulance staff deal with the pressure from Corona and the effects of having to isolate themselves from their family.

As the "Daily Mail" reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also met the paramedic Shani Smith, who had taken care of one of the special tea trolleys for the rescue staff and paramedics last year. They wanted to know how she used her mental health training to support her colleagues.

The mental health of the medical staff is important to Prince William and Duchess Kates. Over the past year, they have worked with the Royal Foundation to support those on the front lines fighting the pandemic.
