“Welcome to our official YouTube channel”: This is the title of the first clip on a new account owned by William and Kate.
Prince William (38) and Duchess Kate (39) surprisingly launched their own YouTube channel on May 5th. “We are now on YouTube”, they happily announce on Twitter. your first video is a short cutwhich in 25 seconds mainly shows material from the couple’s public appearances and is entitled “Welcome to our official YouTube channel”.
The video also gives hope that the two will perhaps give more private insights, because William and Kate open the clip relaxed and in a good mood. “By the way, be careful what you say now because the guys are filming everything,” warns William. Kate replies with a laugh: “I know!”
Within a very short time, more than 70,000 people have subscribed to the new channel. And the numbers are likely to increase significantly. The couple has more than 2.2 million followers on Twitter, and more than 12.7 million people follow them on Instagram.
