A day in memory of Prince Philip

The Queen’s husband had a weakness for the military and was a bearer of various military ranks: Lord High Admiral of the United Kingdom, Admiral of the Fleet of the Royal Navy, Field Marshal (field marshal, supreme general) of the British Army ( Land Forces) and Marshal of the Royal Air Force. He was particularly proud of the latter title, as he had acquired the pilot’s license himself.
