Prince William and Sir David Attenborough: Royal and wildlife filmmakers work on a joint project

Prince William has announced a project with animal filmmaker Sir David Attenborough on Instagram with a puzzling photo.

Will a joint film by Prince William (38) and Sir David Attenborough (94) be released soon? A special photo was posted on the official Instagram account of William and his wife, Duchess Kate (38). On it are two director's chairs placed side by side with the names "William" and "Sir David" as inscription. Only a movie camera and a globe emoji have been added to the image. The famous wildlife filmmaker and naturalist Attenborough also showed the picture in his Instagram story and commented: "Stay tuned."

The fans of the royals are enthusiastic in the comments on the photo, but are impatiently waiting for more information about the apparently planned film project. Sir David Attenborough recently attracted attention with an Instagram record: The popular British wildlife filmmaker registered on the social media platform on Thursday (September 24th) – and immediately set a new record. After just four hours, the British were already followed by a million people. "Congratulations, Sir David – a new record for the shortest time to reach one million followers on Instagram", the Guinness Book of Records confirmed the new record a little later.

The royal offspring loves Attenborough

From October 4th, Attenborough's documentary "A Life on Our Planet" can be seen on Netflix, in which the filmmaker looks at his many years of work and the changes on our planet. Prince William also has a documentary in his luggage: "A Planet for Us All" (October 5th on ITV) accompanied the Royal on his environmental protection mission for two years. A first trailer shows, among other things, an encounter between Attenborough, Prince William and Duchess Kate. The mother of Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (5) and Prince Louis (2) said to the filmmaker: "Our children were very jealous that we were meeting you today. They are your biggest fans."
