Surprise appearance during public mourning
William and Catherine personally thanked them with a last-minute visit to Windsor
Gradually, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, return to work after the death of Queen Elizabeth. Now the couple has appeared in Windsor for an unannounced meeting with funeral workers.

On September 9, at the request of “His Majesty the King […] “A period of royal mourning” has been declared from now until seven days after the Queen’s funeral, according to the palace website.
