After brother Prince Harry’s allegations, Prince William spoke of the “spirit of togetherness at Christmas” in a speech.

Prince William (40) paid tribute to his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) at the traditional Christmas concert in London’s Westminster Abbey on Thursday evening. According to the British “Daily Mail” he read a passage from the late monarch’s 2012 Christmas message at the concert, which will be broadcast on ITV on December 24. The Queen explained that she was “always gripped by the spirit of togetherness” during the festive season. It is a time “when we remember that God sent his only Son “to serve”.

The palace previously announced that this year’s service will be dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II and the values that the Queen, who died in September, stood for – including empathy, faith, compassion and helping others.

We had to get out of there,” Harry realized after there had been a “terrible” meeting with the family shortly before: “My brother yelled at me. My father said things that weren’t true .”

Meanwhile, the Royal Family showed solidarity at Westminster Abbey on Thursday. So were King Charles III. (74) and King Consort Camilla (75), Kate’s parents Carole (67) and Michael Middleton (73), her sister Pippa (39) and brother James (35), Mike (44) and Zara Tindall (44), Sophie of Wessex (57) or Princess Eugenie (32) and Princess Beatrice (34) present.
