Prince William + Kate Middleton: The English love story

It was exciting and beautiful when Prince William and his Kate married. The path from the bourgeois Catherine Middleton to the Duchess of Cambridge and finally to “our Kate” was not always easy for Kate and William.

From the ups and downs to the wedding

In Scotland, William and Kate met at university in 2001 and fell in love a year later. The fact that the beautiful Kate Middleton in a transparent dress walked the catwalk at a fashion show and William saw her that way probably also contributed to this. At first, the two tried to keep their relationship a secret, but photos from a vacation together revealed the new couple. When the British prince felt hemmed in by her, William and Kate separated in 2004. Both threw themselves into love affairs, but in 2006 Kate and William found each other again. A year later they separated again. Presumably to test Kate Middleton; because many newspapers offered her huge sums of money to publish her love story. Kate turned down all of these offers, and she and William became a couple again. When Kate and William traveled the world with their backpacks, he proposed marriage to her in 2010, followed by their dream wedding on April 29, 2011.

The couple’s children: George, Charlotte, Louis

A little later, Kate became pregnant, on July 22, 2013, her little Prince George was born. Two years later, their second child, Princess Charlotte, followed in May 2015. And in the spring of 2018, the third child, Prince Louis, saw the light of day. Back then until today, the little royals delight half the world.
