The mourning for Queen Elizabeth united them! Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, arrived in Windsor with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan.
After years of tension, Prince William, 41, and Prince Harry, 38, put their differences aside to mourn the death of their grandmother. Together with their wives Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41, and Duchess Meghan, 42, they arrived at the gates of the estate in Berkshire two days after the monarch’s death, on September 10, 2022, to collect the countless flowers that the Royal fans had laid down to examine.

For the first time since 2020, the two brothers and their wives have been spotted together in public. For many Royal fans a glimmer of hope in dark times. After the death of Queen Elizabeth, † 96, King Charles, 74, heralded the royal mourning. The palace issued instructions on where citizens can lay flowers in memory of the late monarch. The British population followed suit: a colorful sea of flowers stretched out in front of the gates of Windsor Castle.
William, Kate, Harry and Meghan watched this together. With their heads bowed, the former “Fab Four” stood in front of the countless funeral offerings from Royal fans and read through the letters of condolence that were attached to some of the bouquets of flowers.

The Prince and Princess of Wales then chatted with the crowd that had gathered in Windsor. Harry and Meghan also took time to speak to those present. The four royals arrived together in the car.
Did Prince William call his brother?
Shortly afterwards, according to the Daily Mail, palace circles said that King Charles had instructed his feuding sons to settle their ongoing feud before the funeral of Queen Elizabeth, †96. After a phone call with his father, William called his brother and asked him and Meghan to accompany him and Kate to visit the mourning crowd.
