Prince William attended the BAFTAS in London on February 18, 2024 without his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales. However, the Prince of Wales did not come to the British Academy Film Awards ceremony unaccompanied.

Prince William, 41, is currently on his own. While his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, 42, recovers from abdominal surgery and his father King Charles, 75, concentrates on his cancer treatment, the Prince of Wales has to attend selected appointments on behalf of the Crown without support.

However, the 41-year-old never travels completely alone. William attended the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAS) ceremony in London on Sunday evening, February 18, 2024, without Kate – the couple usually makes a glamorous appearance at the “British Oscars” every year – but the royal appeared Accompanied by his Lieutenant Rob Dixon.

Since 2020, Dixon has become the equerry of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, and a loyal companion to the Waleses. Also to Prince George, 10, seems to have a good relationship with the lieutenant; photos taken at the coronation of King Charles show Rob Dixon in a relaxed conversation with the heir to the throne. It’s no wonder that the Navy officer also has a point in the books with the Royal fans.

“With my wife it was a bit…”

At the BAFTAS, Prince William was in good spirits despite his wife’s absence. “I’m a big fan of “Christopher Nolan and I would be happy if he won… I loved Oppenheimer,” William admitted before the award ceremony, according to “The Daily Telegraph.” However, he hasn’t seen “Barbie” yet, but wants to do so in the near future – together with his Kate. “I’ve seen the fewest films I’ve ever seen,” said the 41-year-old about this year’s BAFTA contenders, adding: “With my wife it was a bit… but hopefully we’ll get it After that, I’ll make my list tonight.”
