Prince William: role as a father changed his life

His role as a father changed everything for him. Prince William (37) has now revealed this in a documentary that will be broadcast on British broadcaster BBC One on May 28. Different media have already reported on the work in advance. At the same time, the birth of his three children George (6), Charlotte (5) and Louis (2) was also one of the "most frightening moments" in his life. Because that also reminded him of a traumatic stroke of fate that William had to go through when he was young.

Memory of Princess Diana

"Having children is the greatest life-changing moment, it really is," he is quoted by the People magazine, among others. "I think if you've been through something traumatic in life (…) – my mother died when I was younger – emotions suddenly return," remembers William of his mother's fatal car accident, Princess Diana (1961- 1997).

Duchess Kate (38) helped him through this emotional time. When it comes to education, the two would always stick together. "Katherine and I support each other, live through these moments together, develop and learn," said William.

Williams' heart project

In the documentary "Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health", the 37-year-old deals with the mental health of men, which also plays a major role in his "Heads Up" campaign. In the film, he visits the footballers of Everton FC in Liverpool. One of them suffers from depression, which is also mentioned in the documentary.
