Prince William: Royal works secretly for crisis hotline

Prince William (37) has just revealed a little secret: During the lockdown, Queen Elizabeth II's (94) grandson advised people anonymously. William was apparently one of the volunteers on "Shout 85258". The organization provides text message support for people with mental health problems. Prince William said he answered messages after he was trained by the charity.

In a video call, William said to other volunteers, "I'm going to share a little secret with you, I'm actually on the platform and volunteer." This can be seen on the Instagram account of William and his wife Kate (38). In the post, the Royals thanked the many volunteers. Together with Prince Harry (35) and Duchess Meghan (38), the Cambridges helped launch "Shout 85258" last year, according to the British "BBC". Through their "Royal Foundation" they are said to have invested three million pounds (about 3.3 million euros) in the service.
