Prince William (41) returns to work this week: As the “BBC” reports, among others, The British royal will return to his royal duties from Wednesday. This was announced by Kensington Palace. In the morning, the heir to the British throne will receive several citizens and celebrities at Windsor Castle to present them with awards. A charity gala is scheduled for the evening.

A fundraising gala is on the program

In one of his first public appearances after his wife Princess Kate’s (42) operation, Prince William will attend the annual fundraising gala for the London Air Ambulance. He has been a patron of the organization for four years and was a pilot for the Air Ambulance for around two years.

The palace did not provide any new information about Princess Kate’s health. When she was discharged from the hospital on January 29, a statement said she was “progressing well.” The mother of three is currently recovering at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor from abdominal surgery, for which she spent a total of 13 days in a London clinic. Kate is not expected to return to the public until after Easter.

Prince William withdrew from his royal duties during her hospital stay to look after their three children, Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5).

King Charles is recovering in Norfolk

As The Telegraph reports, King Charles (75) is said to have been at the royal estate in Sandringham since last Wednesday (January 31st). On Sunday he attended the service at St. Mary Magdalene Church together with Queen Camilla and appeared to the public in a good mood.

He is said to have been flown there by helicopter from London so that he could recover from his procedure in peace in Norfolk. Two days earlier he had been discharged from a London clinic after a three-day stay where he was treated for an enlarged prostate.

King Charles will probably not attend public appointments again for a few weeks. However, according to media reports, he will do a large part of his office work from home.
