The British heir to the throne, Prince William (41), will visit Germany next week. As Kensington Palace announcedhe will watch the European Championship match between England and Denmark in the stadium. The match will take place on Thursday (20 June) in Frankfurt, kick-off is at 6 p.m. Will William also be celebrating his birthday in Germany? The eldest son of King Charles (75) will be 42 years old on 21 June.

The Prince of Wales is not only a huge football fan – he is a supporter of Aston Villa – but also the President of the English Football Association. When he visits the English national team in this capacity next Thursday, they will be playing their second game in the group phase of the European Championship. The Three Lions start the tournament on Sunday (16 June) when they face Serbia.

Will William’s children come to the European Championships?

Prince William had already visited the English team earlier in the week before their departure for Germany and, according to British media reports, also gave the players advice from his children. A somewhat adventurous tip for success at the European Championships apparently came from Prince Louis (6): The players should simply eat twice as much as usual, William’s youngest child told them. “I then had visions of all of you running around the pitch with huge, stinging bellies, so I think you should perhaps take my youngest’s advice with a grain of salt,” joked William.

Prince Louis’ older brother, Prince George (10), has already visited the football stadium several times with his father. He will probably not be there for William’s visit to Frankfurt. As “Mail Online” reportsWilliam will probably not be accompanied by his children. In addition to Louis and George, William and his wife Princess Kate (42) also have Princess Charlotte (9). Kate is currently not appearing in public as she is undergoing cancer treatment.
