The Queen’s funeral procession brought back horrific memories
Prince William had some emotional conversations with people outside Sandringham House.

The funeral procession in honor of his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II is said to have brought back terrible memories for Prince William.
Even a week after the death of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), there is deep mourning in Great Britain. Together with Princess Kate (40), Prince William (40) paid a visit to people who laid flowers for the dead monarch in front of the Sandringham House in Norfolk. According to the English media, the heir to the throne revealed how deeply he was touched by the funeral procession through London the day before.
“He said how hard it was yesterday and that it reminded him of his mother’s funeral,” quotes “Telegraph”. Princess Diana died in a traffic accident on August 31, 1997. The images of how today’s King Charles III. (73) and his children William and Harry (38) walked behind the coffin, went around the world a little later. When a woman in conversation with Prince William indicated that she was close to tears because of the Queen’s death, he said according to the “Daily Mail” replied: “Please don’t cry, otherwise I’ll start too.”
Princess Kate is currently built close to the water. Also outside Sandringham House, she said to a woman that she could not believe how many flowers and cards had been placed there. But reading this without crying would be extremely difficult for her.
The state funeral will follow on Monday
Queen Elizabeth died on September 8th at the age of 96. Lined with tens of thousands of citizens on the streets of London, the coffin of the late Queen was brought to Westminster Hall in a funeral procession on Wednesday (September 14). The Queen was laid out there for four days until her state funeral next Monday, September 19.
