During an interview given to Today, mentioned by the British newspaper, former royal chef Darren McGrady revealed that the daughter of Prince Philip and the late Queen Elizabeth II liked to start the day by enjoying a bowl of fruit. Indeed, Darren McGrady remembered that she had the habit of asking to be served browned bananas, whose use-by date had passed: “Princess Anne preferred bananas that were almost black, overripe, because they were more easily digested.” Although this may seem unsavory, scientific research tends to support it.
