In an interview with a television station, Princess Anne revealed what her late father, Prince Philip, had taught her.

Princess Anne (70) has given her first interview since the death of her father, Prince Philip (1921-2021). The daughter of Queen Elizabeth II (95) and her late husband honored her father in an interview with the British broadcaster ITV News and gave an insight into her relationship with the royal and his attitude to life.

“We all have to go on,” said Princess Anne of her father’s death and added: “But it is important to remember.” She remembers Prince Philip as a curious and committed man: “There weren’t many people who understood how broad his interests were and what an incredibly wide range of organizations he supported.”

This is how Prince Philip influenced her

When asked about her interest in engineering, Anne said that she inspired Prince Philip to do so. “Whenever something broke, he had this way of saying, ‘Look at this again, maybe you can fix it before you throw it away.'” Prince Philip has been her teacher, supporter and critic, “but above all it was his example of a well-lived life and voluntary service that I wanted to emulate, “said Anne.

Prince Philip died of old age on April 9 at the age of 99. The Duke of Edinburgh “died peacefully at Windsor Castle on the morning of April 9,” said an official statement from the British royal family.
