None of the royals works more than Princess Anne. Why wasn’t she on the traditional walk at Sandringham?

Almost all the senior royals showed up at Sandringham on Boxing Day. During the public walk to the service, King Charles III. (74), King’s wife Camilla (75), heir to the throne Prince William (40) with his family and Prince Edward (58) and even the disgraced Prince Andrew (62). But one of the first ranks of the royal family was missing: Princess Anne (72). The king’s sister is said to have missed the family event because she is said to be recovering from a cold, as reported, among other things, by the “Daily Mail”.

None of the royals works more than Anne

The only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) has been one of the hardest-working members of the British royal family for years, as a new ranking recently proved once again. Even in the outgoing year of 2022, no UK royal has attended more public appearances and events than the 72-year-old. Believe it or not, Anne has carried out 214 of these commitments in the past twelve months, as the “Daily Mail” also writes. This means that it is once again the undisputed number one – as it has been for the past two years and most of the time before.
