Mourning Queen Elizabeth! While Princess Beatrice struggled to keep her emotions under control at her grandmother’s wake on September 16, husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shed tears.
On September 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth, † 96, closed her eyes forever. A message that hit Princess Beatrice, 34, but also her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, hard. “It’s incredibly difficult to process the last 24 hours. What an incredible woman and what an extraordinary mark she left around the world. She was the rock on which modern Britain was built. We are very happy that our children were able to spend a wonderful time with her this summer. Rest in peace, Your Majesty. We will miss you so much,” wrote the architect on Instagram after the sad news.
Princess Beatrice’s husband mourns the Queen so much
New recordings from Westminster Hall show how much the death of the record monarch takes him away. Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi looked on Friday night September 16 as King Charles, 73, Princess Anne, 72, Prince Andrew, 62, and Prince Edward, 58, held a wake that lasted around 15 minutes for their late mother. A moving moment that Mapelli Mozzi was more than moved by. At the sight of the grieving siblings, he could not hold back his tears.

A few days earlier, the 38-year-old surprised royal fans with a touching gesture for the queen. On Monday, September 12, the father of two quietly and secretly mingled with the people to watch the condolences of the population and the impressive sea of flowers in honor of the Queen in Green Park. He was not noticed by the others present. On September 16, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi also shared an emotional poem by his half-brother titled “Your Majesty, Thank You.” His grief for the grandmother of his beloved wife knows no bounds.
