Princess Beatrice: New wedding photos as thanks to the Royal fans

The wedding only took place in the smallest circle, but Beatrice has now shared two more wedding photos with the Royal fans.

Princess Beatrice (31) thanked the Royal fans with two more wedding photos on Instagram. The royal family's official account said: "HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Mapelli Mozzi were touched by the warm congratulations they have received since their wedding and are happy to share two more photos of their happy day. "

The marriage of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (37) took place on Friday morning, due to Corona reasons, in the closest family circle in the All Saints Chapel decorated with magnificent floral decorations on the grounds of the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park in Berkshire. In one of the new pictures, the bride and groom can be seen on the estate, holding hands and smiling broadly. In the second picture, Edoardo looks lovingly at his wife. This snapshot shows the wedding dress and tiara – both on loan from Beatrice's grandmother Queen Elizabeth II (94) – down to the smallest detail.

The British royal family has previously published wedding photos of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Instagram. There was also the Queen and Prince Philip (99), who did not miss the ceremony.

The cream taffeta dress with diamond-trimmed bodice that Beatrice wore at the wedding was designed for the Queen in 1962 by fashion designer Sir Norman Hartnell. She wore it at the film premiere of "Lawrence of Arabia" at the Odeon Leicester Square in London. Angela Kelly, the Queen's personal stylist, and Stewart Parvin, her favorite tailor, have reportedly adjusted the dress to Beatrice's size and changed some details to match the bride's wishes.

And the tiara that the princess wore on her head when she said yes has a long history. Queen Elizabeth II also wore it when she married Prince Philip in 1947. It was once made for Queen Mary (1867-1953).
