Princess Beatrice of York: Big scare in the carriage, an accident narrowly avoided at Royal Ascot!

This is the horse racing event that British high society never misses: the Royal Ascott, as in every edition, saw a good part of the royal family, eager to enjoy horse racing on the best jockeys in the world. And after Prince William and Kate Middleton, Mike and Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie with her husband Jack Brooksbank, Princess Beatrice made her third appearance of the week this Saturday.

But Andrew of York’s daughter and her husband Edoardo Mapello Mozzi almost had a carriage accident when they arrived! Indeed, while the couple were comfortably seated, waiting to arrive in the stands, one of the horses pulling the carriage got carried away and left on the side, very upset… but calmed down, fortunately, very quickly by the grooms present, who were able to easily put him back in line.

Once calm returned, the young mother of little Sienna (8 months) was able to smile again and join the various participants to whom she presented certain prizes. She also found the Duke of Kent there, the cousin of Elizabeth II, who had taken part in the Jubilee ceremonies. Her sister, who had accompanied her last Tuesday in a floral dress, was absent this time, however.

This did not prevent Beatrice, sublime in her black dress with white polka dots signed Saloni and her Jimmy Choo pumps, from having a good time, on the arm of her husband who had also put the package on the look level by respecting the dress- code top hat and tails… Both had left their little girl at home. Born last August, the little girl has never made official appearances (unlike her cousin, August Brooksbank) but would surely have been afraid of the many people present!

Even if we can already be sure that she will ride a horse from her first steps: the whole royal family, Queen Elizabeth II the first, is passionate about riding. Princess Anne and her daughter Zara are both medalists, Prince Harry and Prince William practice polo at a high level and all regularly go to see competitions. And the children are no exception: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis (8 years old, 7 years old and 4 years old) have already started lessons!
