No invitation to Prince Daniel’s birthday party

Princess Birgitta missed another highlight in Sweden: She was not invited to Prince Daniel’s birthday party. To this day, the Royal cannot explain the reasons for this.
Princess Birgitta decided to live in Mallorca many years ago, away from the royal spotlight in Sweden, the king’s sister enjoys it Carl Gustaf, 77, her retirement. The 86-year-old only rarely attends appointments on behalf of the crown; Birgitta had to cancel her brother’s 50th anniversary to the throne after her sisters were unable to take part in the celebrations.

And the anniversary shouldn’t be the only major event in Stockholm that Princess Birgitta missed. On Saturday evening, November 11, 2023, Prince Daniel celebrated his 50th birthday in the royal castle. Around 200 prominent guests were invited, including Sweden’s high society and, of course, the birthday child’s family and the royal family. But one person was not invited to the celebrations: Princess Birgitta. As the 86-year-old confirmed to the Swedish newspaper “Hänt”, she did not receive an invitation to Daniel’s big birthday party. “I wasn’t even invited,” says the princess.
She couldn’t explain the reasons for this. “I don’t know it. But I wouldn’t have come anyway, because I’m not going to fly to Sweden for a day,” Birgitta explains, but also emphasizes that she congratulated Prince Daniel on the phone.
Party until the early hours of the morning
From the celebration she has so far “I didn’t notice anything at all, but a few details have now been leaked.
