In the UK, Mother's Day is celebrated. William and Kate's children also remember their late grandmother Diana.

Prince William (38) and Duchess Kate (39) show self-made cards by Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (5) and Prince Louis (2) on Instagram. On the occasion of the British Mother's Day, which is celebrated there on March 14th today, the royal offspring made them for their "Grandma Diana".

Together with the photos of the cards, William and Kate send a message to all those struggling with grief: "Mother's Day will be different this year too. Many of us will be apart from our loved ones, but look forward to a time in the not too distant future when we can hug our mother again. But for those experiencing grief, today can be especially challenging. " The post goes on to say: "Every year on Mother's Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards for William in memory of their grandmother Diana."

"Papa misses you"

The children's cards that can be seen on Instagram are decorated with flowers, hearts and animals. The two older siblings also have handwritten messages to Diana, who was killed in a car accident in 1997. Among other things, Princess Charlotte writes: "Papa misses you."
