Third season starts with familiar faces

“Princess Charming” returns on September 1st. There are familiar faces among the single women who want to win Madleen’s heart.
“Princess Charming” goes into the next round. In the third season, starting September 1st is available on RTL+, student Madleen Matthias (23) is looking for the right woman by her side. She succeeds Irina hose and Hanna Sökeland. On Koh Samui she meets 17 candidates in the new “Princess Charming” episodes. Later in the season, three exciting replacements are added.

Madleen Matthias from Weyhe near Bremen, who lives in Groningen in the Netherlands and loves to dance and be in nature, has been single since December 2021. So far she has had two relationships, one with a man and the other with a woman. “I think I subconsciously choose the women and people who are clear from the start that they are emotionally unavailable,” she says of her single status. “It’s a pattern of mine that I wish to break. I’m sure the show will teach me a lot in that regard.” In the past, her partners “never really wanted to commit and always kept me warm,” she continues in the RTL+ interview. It went so far that from time to time, when asked, she was introduced as “‘a friend’s sister'”.
“Long, dark hair and tattoos” should bring her chosen one if possible. Beyond all appearances, however, “the energy that a woman radiates” is most important to her. “I communicate an awful lot with my eyes and with my body language, so it’s important to me that my counterpart can also communicate with their eyes.” In addition, Madleen is able to delight those who “radiate both masculine and feminine energy”. Physical closeness and intimacy are particularly important to her, but she finds “typical Hollywood romance” “totally uncomfortable”.
The candidates
Upon arrival at Koh Samui Airport, “Princess” Madleen, disguised as a member of the production team, will be able to observe the 17 start candidates up close at the start of the season before the great adventure in Thailand begins. Among them are Rahel (27), hostel owner and marketing manager from Berlin, Aileena (26), news anchor and podcaster from Regensburg, Desi (25), content creator from Cologne or Ebru (33), hairstylist from Buchholz. Later, according to RTL+, “fantastic dates in paradise Thailand, candidates who move in late, house romances and a change of location to Bangkok” will follow.
The successors include two well-known TV faces: In addition to dating coach Meli (27) from Zurich, Elsa (24), content creator from Berlin, will be there. She was a finalist for the first season “Princess Charming”. In the third season she should be there from episode four. Stephie Stark (28), content creator from Cologne, will also move up. She was a candidate on “Der Bachelor” in 2021, but was unsightly dumped by Niko Griesert (33). Even with “Bachelor in Paradise” it shouldn’t work out with great love in 2022. She has since come out as pansexual.
“The first dating format in which I can show all my facets 100 percent!” She says happily at Instagram to the new format. “So far I’ve always come a long way, but I’ve never found love on the shows.” She is curious how the time in the villa will be and “how the first encounter with Madleen will be”. She is looking forward to “finally being able to see a part of myself on television that I wasn’t ready to show to the outside for a long time”.
