Princess Diana: Her brother reminds her of her birthday

Princess Diana (1961-1997) brother Charles Spencer (56) has spoken on social media. On a special occasion: Diana would have turned 59 on July 1. Her younger brother now revealed on Twitterthat he had received a "touching" gift from a Diana fan: a bouquet and a message.

Charles Spencer posted a picture of the handwritten card that reads, "Happy Birthday, Diana, Princess of Wales. I will always remember you." The message is on a package of flowers. Charles Spencer wrote about the photo: "Received today at @AlthorpHouse – incredible and touching." Many of his followers were "touched" by this gesture: "Diana will always remain the queen of hearts", says the comments. Another user wrote: "This is very cute, so many people will kindly remember it." Another fan tweeted: "Her sister was a unique personality and will never be forgotten. She is very much missed, especially in these turbulent times, and I think of her every day."

On Instagram, Charles Spencer also shared a photo of the sky above the Althorp family estate. "Clouds over @althorphouse tonight," he wrote. Many fans also commented on this post with memories of Diana: "Wherever she may be, she will always be remembered for her open arms for everyone everywhere. We still miss you so much, Diana," it says, among other things. Diana died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.
