From summer 2021, among other things, the wedding dress of the late Princess Diana will be exhibited in London.

If the corona pandemic allows, Kensington Palace in London is likely to become one of the main destinations for Royal fans for several months from the summer. Starts on June 3rd there an exhibition with the title “Royal Style in the Making”which focuses on the work of British designers for the royal family.

Harry and William provide Diana’s wedding dress

One of the most interesting pieces to be seen there is the dress that the late Princess Diana (1961-1997) wore when she married Prince Charles (72) in the summer of 1981. The wedding dress is on loan from Prince Harry (36) and Prince William (38), Diana’s sons. The dress was designed by Elizabeth and David Emanuel and caused a sensation in particular with the almost eight-meter-long white train.

Let the dress be according to the British TV station ITV last exhibited in 1995 at Kensington Palace, but later on at the family seat in Althorp. Also on display is a rare design for a robe by Queen Mum (1900-2002), the mother of Queen Elizabeth II (95), who wore it for her coronation in 1937. The exhibition is scheduled to run until January 2nd.
