Princess Eugenie was one of the royal guests at the Duke of Westminster’s wedding. An anonymous source has now revealed how much Eugenie enjoyed the evening before the event.
Eugenie has now proven that there is no facade behind it at the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, 33, and Olivia Henson, 30. An insider explained to “Hello! Magazine” how exuberantly Prince William’s cousin, 41, celebrated the party and which statement by the 34-year-old caused laughter.
Princess Eugenie celebrated without husband Jack Brooksbank
According to the anonymous source, Prince Andrew’s daughter, 64, traveled to the north-west of England one day before the big society wedding. What was immediately noticeable: Princess Eugenie came without her husband Jack Brooksbank, 38, and their children August, 3, and Ernest, 1. A rarity that Eugenie is said to have joked about in her circle of friends.

“Hello! Magazine” quotes the insider as saying: “The princess joked that she was the ‘fifth wheel’ to her friends while enjoying a drink at the bar the night before the wedding. It was so funny to hear her use lingo, just like we do.”
Instead of champagne: Eugenie chose this drink
In addition to Eugenie’s casual choice of words, the source apparently noticed the princess’ unusual choice of drink. Instead of showing off her royal airs and opting for the finest wines, gin – which is known to be very popular with the Windsors – or champagne, the mother of two is said to have ordered bottled beer.
“She was incredibly normal and talkative and even drank beer from the bottle. She also drank a pint of Guinness,” the confidant explained to the British magazine. It seems as if the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, †96, enjoyed the eve of the wedding without her husband and children. Why the royal traveled without her family is not known.

How Eugenie and Prince William, who also had to come to the celebration alone, celebrated the actual wedding remains a secret. The couple tried to protect themselves, their guests and the big day by taking many security measures. There was a strict ban on cell phones. Police officers also monitored the ceremony.
Some details did manage to get out to the public: As “Hello!” reports, there were fireworks, an ice cream bike for the guests and first-class food. In addition, one guest revealed: “The music was like nothing I’ve ever heard. There was a full orchestra and it sounded impeccable, the whole environment was just perfect.”
