She has had bad years, but now Princess Haya can finally take a deep breath. The London Supreme Court has asked her ex-husband to sign one of the largest divorce agreements ever in England.

Princess Haya, 47, has been used to an elaborate and luxurious lifestyle since childhood. Noble racehorses, sinfully expensive luxury cars and precious jewels worth millions are part of it. But all this wealth also has its downsides, as it came to light during the war of divorce between her and the powerful man in Dubai. But now Princess Haya has won an incredible victory in a London court. The verdict was published in writing by the Supreme Court in London on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, according to news channels “CNN” and “Daily Mail”.

Princess Haya + Sheikh Mohammed: Expensive lifestyle, even more expensive divorce

According to the verdict, Sheikh Mohammed bin Raschid Al Maktoum, 72, the ruler of Dubai, was ordered by the court to pay his ex-wife more than 554 million pounds – the equivalent of around 650 million euros. It is one of the largest divorce agreements to have ever existed in the UK. The money will be used to cover Princess Haya’s security costs for the rest of her life as well as the running costs of the couple’s two children – Al Jalila, 14, and Zayed, 9, -. An advance payment of 295 million euros is due in the next three months. The court has ruled that Sheikh Mohammed will have to pay the annual security costs for his two children for the rest of their lives.

Princess Haya’s life will always be in danger

In his published judgment, the judge found that the greatest threat to Princess Haya and her children Jalila and Zayed comes from the Sheikh herself. The sheikh used a number of tactics to intimidate his ex and spy on them and their employees. A revelation that didn’t appear in court documents until October. The costly divorce settlement marks the final phase of a year-long struggle between the estranged couple. The UK Supreme Court found that Sheikh Mohammed used his “immense wealth, political power and international influence” to harass and silence the 47-year-old. A previous judgment in March 2020 concluded that Sheikh Mohammed organized and forcibly carried out the kidnapping of two of his daughters in Dubai, where he was holding them against their will. The sheikh denies the allegations to this day, but the danger for Princess Haya and the children will remain. Hopefully all the millions can buy her a safe life in peace.
