A few days ago, Princess Ingrid Alexandra graduated from school. Now the court reveals what the future of Crown Prince Haakon’s daughter will look like.

On June 20, 2023, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 19, celebrated her graduation from the prestigious Elvebakken secondary school in the heart of Oslo with her parents, her brothers and even Magnus Heien Haugstad. The court has now announced what will happen in the life of Crown Prince Haakons, 49, and Crown Princess Mette-Marits, 49, daughter.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra will work as a school assistant and environmental worker

Not only the Danish, but also the Norwegian royal court surprised on Monday afternoon, June 26, 2023, with exciting news regarding the future of his future heir to the throne.

On the palace’s official website, a statement entitled “New everyday life for the princess” states what work Ingrid Alexandra will do after she graduates from school. It reads: “Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid Alexandra will be working at Uranienborg School as a school assistant and environmental worker this autumn.”

Hof reveals details of her military training

Details of their military training will also be revealed. According to this, the princess will do a 12-month military service in the Pioneer Battalion in the North Brigade in “2024”.

For this, “Princess Ingrid Alexandra […] depart in January for Skjold Camp in Inner Troms, home base of 2nd Battalion and Engineer Battalion. […]”. The court further reports: “After the recruitment phase, the princess is assigned to a post and undergoes a professional phase with more specific training, followed by a secondment phase with training and exercises.”
