Although a marriage between royal families is rare these days, royal fans like to dream of it. They also see some good wedding candidates for the Spanish Princess Leonor.
In a few months, Princess Leonor, 17, will graduate from UWC Atlantic College in Wales. In autumn of this year, on October 31st, the heir to the Spanish throne will celebrate her 18th birthday. When she comes of age, the daughter of King Felipe, 55, and Queen Letizia, 50, will take on even more royal duties. Who will be of great support to Leonor in the challenges as Spain’s future Queen?
No official love news has leaked out yet. There have been a number of rumors in the Spanish media. Now the daily newspaper “La Razón” has found out about a list on the social media platform Twitter. This gives an overview of the possible admirers that could come into question for Leonor. These are young royals from Europe who would like fans to be at the side of the princess.
Princess Leonor: 3 royal men to fall in love with?
1. Count Felix of Monpezat
Number one on this list is Count Felix von Monpezat, 20, son of Prince Joachim of Denmark, 53, and his first wife Alexandra of Frederiksborg58. He will be 21 on July 22 and is eighth in line to the Danish throne.
Like his brother Graf Nikolai, 23, Felix works regularly as a model, is ambitious, studies at the Copenhagen Business School and has been single again since June 2022. He was previously in a relationship with Karen Bak.
2. Prince Tirso of Bulgaria
Far less well-known than Felix is number 2: Prince Tirso of Bulgaria, 20, born on June 3, 2002 in Madrid to Prince Kubrat of Bulgaria, 57, and his wife Carla Royo-Villanova, 54. His grandfather Simeon, 85, was once king of the country. Tirso studies telecommunications and loves sports. The advantage: he knows Spain and speaks the language.
3. Prince Gabriel of Belgium
In third place is Prince Gabriel of Belgium, 19, born August 20, 2003 in Brussels. The second child of King Philippe, 62, and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, 50, he is the reserve heir to the throne behind his sister, Princess Elisabeth, 21.
