First public solo appointment for Princess Leonor. The 15-year-old Royal offspring mastered an appearance in Madrid without a family.

The Spanish Princess Leonor (15) completed her first public event on Wednesday at the celebration of the 30th anniversary of a language and cultural center – without the presence of her parents, King Felipe VI. (53) and Letizia of Spain (48). When she arrived at the institute’s headquarters in Madrid, the 15-year-old was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Carmen Calvo (63) and the institute’s director Luis García Montero.

Successful appearance

The Cervantes Institute promotes the learning of the Spanish language and literature around the world. The heiress to the Spanish throne first completed a tour and then left a copy of the Spanish constitution and the classic book “Don Quixote” by Miguel de Cervantes in the literary vault of the institute.

Princess Leonor was expected and greeted with joy by many fans and onlookers. A good sign for the future queen, because the Spanish monarchy is currently in a major crisis. The reason for this are the corruption allegations and the suspicion of tax fraud and money laundering against Felipe’s father, the former King Juan Carlos I (83).
