Finding a school for her children presents her with a challenge

Princess Madeleine will move back to Sweden with her family this summer. Before that, however, it is important to find adequate schools and pre-schools for their three children. And that is a difficult undertaking, especially for personal reasons.
The joy at the Swedish court is great: Princess Madeleine, 40, is returning home with her husband Chris O’Neill, 48, and their three children. The move from the USA to Sweden is scheduled to take place in August. Until then, all sorts of preparations and decisions have to be made. But just finding schools and preschools for Leonore, 9, Nicolas, 7, and Adrienne, 4, poses a challenge.
Princess Madeleine looking for suitable schools
According to experts, there are some renowned educational institutions in Stockholm that could be suitable for the three royal offspring. Madeleine’s siblings Princess Victoria, 45, and Prince Carl Philip, 44, whose children are currently attending different schools and preschools, certainly have good advice when looking for a school. According to “Svensk Damtidning”, the 40-year-old and her husband are said to have looked at the Campus Manilla school last summer. Princess Estelle, 11, and Prince Oscar, 7, also visit them. According to the magazine, a preschool in the Djurgaarden district would be an option for baby Adrienne. Helpful contacts in this election are certainly Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, 38.

There’s just one snag that the youngest daughter of King Carl Gustaf, 77, and Queen Silvia, 79, shouldn’t ignore: Her ex-fiancé Jonas Bergstrom, 44, has children around the same age as Princess Adrienne with his wife Stephanie . If their little ones go to the same preschool, an awkward encounter will be difficult to avoid.
“Not a pleasant situation for Madeleine”
“There are a lot of good preschools there, but it can’t be the case that Madeleine and Jonas Berström’s children end up in the same preschool. It’s not a pleasant situation for Madeleine,” the magazine quoted a source from Aftonbladet newspaper as saying.

The separation of Princess Madeleine and Jonas Berström – he is said to have cheated on her – was 13 years ago. The two should not have direct contact with each other. If they occasionally meet during the event, they only greet each other in a friendly way, it is said. It would be understandable that Madeleine would like to keep the risk of making these meetings a regular occurrence as low as possible.
