Happy news for Princess Madeleine: her best friend Sofi Fahrman has gotten married. The big celebration took place in Venice with countless invited guests.
It was a wedding in a class of its own: Sofi Fahrman, 43, said yes to her partner at a romantic wedding in Venice. This occasion may also have drawn Princess Madeleine, 41, and Chris O’Neill, 49, to the Italian lagoon city, after all, Sofi is one of the Princess’s closest friends.
Princess Madeleine’s best friend is getting married in Venice
The Swedish journalist shares the great news with fantastic photos via Instagram with the world. A first black and white shot shows her dancing with her lover in a body-hugging bandeau dress with bows. The lettering “Sofi and Filip” lights up with a heart above them.
Another posting shows the beautiful bride on her big day. She poses on a marble staircase in a white wedding dress with a corsage and a lush skirt with floral embroidery and a long veil. Together with the bridesmaids, who wear champagne-colored dresses, they go on a boat. The flower girls wear floral dresses and wreaths in their hair.
“We are slowly waking up from a fairy tale. Full of energy, full of love and memories that will last a lifetime,” writes Sofi about the series of pictures and explains: “We got married during Covid, and now we were finally able to share love with everyone celebrate with our friends and family. Unforgettable.”
Are Madeleine and Chris secretly staying in Italy?
Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill may also have been among the guests at the big wedding celebration in Italy. It’s hard to imagine that the mother of three would miss her best friend’s wedding. In June, Madeleine was in her native Sweden when Sofi’s son celebrated his first birthday. So it makes sense that the 41-year-old also celebrated this special milestone in her good friend’s life with her.
