Princess Madeleine: No scary fun for your children

No Princess Madeleine, 39, in a cat costume? No Batman cloak for Prince Nicolas, 6, or mermaid thread for Princess Leonore, 7? As it stands, not only royal fans will have to do without cute Halloween pictures of the Swedish royal family this year. Even the royal members themselves – especially Madeleine’s children – will probably not be able to enjoy the American horror tradition in a few weeks as usual.

In 2021, the Halloween festival will be put to the test. Given the continued high risk of infection, it is not safe for parents and children to move from house to house and ask for something tricky or sour. A doctor now explained this in an interview with the US broadcaster CNN and preferred to advise against the eerily beautiful spectacle. Perhaps Madeleine and her husband Chris O’Neill, 47, will find a way to celebrate Halloween safely with their three children in the adopted home in Flordia.

Princess Sofía: Here she takes Princess Leonor’s place

The Spanish national holiday on October 12, 2021 could be celebrated larger again this year thanks to the Corona easing. King Felipe, 53, Queen Letizia, 48, and Princess Sofía, 14, enjoyed the military parade in Madrid in bright sunshine. When the Spanish royal family went to the stands after seeing the troops, Princess Sofía made a small debut: She was allowed to take the place to the right of her father for the first time.

This seat is usually reserved for her sister Princess Leonor, 15, the Princess of Asturias. But the heir to the throne was not present as she stayed in Great Britain, where she has been continuing her education at UWC Atlantic College in Wales since August. Sofía follows the entire event very closely, even if she whispers to her father during the parade.

Prince Felix of Denmark moves into his first apartment in downtown Copenhagen

Nobody in the Danish royal family could count on this rapid termination of basic military training: Prince Felix, 19, quickly realized that his future does not lie within the Danish army and must now think about how he wants to shape the coming time, it said in the brief communications of the royal family. But what does it exactly mean?

Apparently, Prince Felix has now moved to his grandmother Queen Margrethe, 81. Just like his big brother Prince Nikolai, 21, who also dropped out of military training, the 19-year-old has now moved into an apartment in Amalienborg Palace. There the royal apparently has enough time and freedom to be clear about his future plans. A step that, according to the Royal expert Jon Block Skipper, is viewed with skepticism: “Of course, one can be surprised that Prince Felix was not informed before he decided to join the army, not least because of the experience his older brother […]. But there are certain things that you have to experience first-hand. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the prince’s quick exit is negative for him, the royal family and for distribution. “

After dropping out quickly in 2018, Prince Nikolai began studying at Copenhagen Business School and is currently in Paris for a semester abroad. Which path Prince Felix will take remains to be seen.

Princess Sofía: Now she has to shine in public without Princess Leonor

How strange must Princess Sofía, 14, feel when she has to pass the Spanish National Day for the first time without her closest confidante at the side of King Felipe, 53, and Queen Letizia, 48? The monarch’s youngest daughter will unfortunately have to do without her older sister Princess Leonor, 15, on October 12, 2021.

Since her father Felipe was named King of Spain in June 2014, the heir to the throne has always been by the side of her parents and younger sister. However, as the royal family announced on October 8th, Leonor will stay in Great Britain this year, where she has been continuing her education at UWC Atlantic College in Wales since August. Because of the lessons and the logistics, Leonor is not able to take part on the national holiday, otherwise she would have had to miss several school days, as the news portal “Vanitatis” writes. Now, for the first time, Sofía is alone in the focus of interest. A task that the always beaming girl will surely master wonderfully.

Princess Estelle: There’s no stopping the Swedes 3-0

Princess Estelle, 9, appears to be a die-hard football fan. At the World Cup qualifier between Sweden and Kosovo on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the Friends Arena in Stockholm, she was excited in the audience. Between her parents, Crown Princess Victoria, 44, and Prince Daniel, 48, and brother Prince Oscar, 5, the young royal in her yellow and blue national jersey barely kept her seat.

When the 3-0 for their home team fell, there was no stopping them. With a raised fist, Estelle cheered loudly for the Swedes, followed by high fives with mom and dad and other viewers who were amused by the overwhelming joy of the nine-year-olds.
