Princess Madeleine + Chris O’Neill
Race against time
Princess Madeleine and her husband Chris O’Neill will move back to Sweden next year. Before they can do that, however, a lot remains to be done – the time pressure is increasing.
Thorgren simply gave the following reason: “It’s just that the time for the family, with everything that a move entails, was a little too short.” Is this still the case? After all, Madeleine still has a lot to do before she gets to her home can return home…
The pressure is increasing for Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill
Because how “Svensk Damtidning” reports, Madeleine and Chris have not yet sold their villa in the luxurious residential area of Pinecrest in Florida. The property is said to have, among other things, 15 rooms, a heated saltwater pool in the large garden and a first-class security system. The house is also located in a gated community, which means the Royal has full control over who enters the area. The area also has the best schools and is close to the beach and shopping. Sounds like the perfect conditions to sell the property .
Your villa cannot be sold
But the villa is reportedly still difficult to sell. The house was initially on the market for 83 million Swedish kroner (the equivalent of around 7.4 million euros). At the beginning of November, according to the Swedish publication, the villa appeared with a new agent – and the price was reduced by around 339,000. So far, however, the new offer is said to have had no purpose. Margareta Thorgren mentioned in June that the reason for the postponed move was not just the sale of the house. Nevertheless, it may be desirable for Madeleine and Chris to settle this matter before returning to Sweden – and time is slowly running out for them.
