After less than a year of relationship, Princess Mette-Marit’s son Marius Borg Høiby and his girlfriend recently separated. Now Nora Haukland reveals that she still wants to keep in touch.
A few days ago, Nora Haukland surprised everyone with the news that she and Marius Borg Høiby, 26, son of Princess Mette-Marit, 49, had split up. The winner of the Norwegian edition of the dating show “Love Island” confirmed the love off on July 6, 2023 to the newspaper “VG”. Now there may be a slight reversal. Because in a fan question and answer session on Instagram, the influencer makes it clear that she and Marius could possibly keep in touch in the future.

Shortly after the breakup, Nora Haukland revealed how much she took the breakup with her. “Nothing feels right,” she wrote about a kissing picture of herself and Princess Mette-Marit’s son Marius in her Instagram story and emphasized: “It’s always difficult to let go of love, but sometimes it’s right.” The pain is still there. This is evident in Nora’s response to the question of how she would feel “right now”.

In response to the fan question, she replies: “Every day is different. I probably withdraw a lot from friends because I easily get in a bad mood. Ilikeitnot, ifIotherpull down. Besides thatamIsomuchinlost in my thoughts, thatIdifficultieshave, presenttobe. II just don’t like to be social, drinkandhardly celebrate.” Haukland is therefore not in an “Hor GIreland Snumber“-Mood.
“The time right after a breakup is hard for both sides”
But once the pain lessens, maybe it will be possible to develop a friendship with Marius Borg Høiby. In any case, Nora sees potential in this, as her answer to the question “How can you remain friends after a breakup” shows. Haukland writes: “I think you have to take your time first and foremost. The time right after a breakup is hard and difficult for both sides – but it’s definitely best to give each other space.”

Nora does not consider friendship with Marius out of the question
Over time, “a greater understanding” would arise, “because you can look at everything from a more objective point of view. You get a better overview of the entire relationship and the time afterwards,” the influencer is sure and says:
