Catherine, Princess of Wales, has caused a big surprise: She and her family will appear at the “Trooping the Colour” birthday parade in honor of the British monarch. It is her first public appearance since the cancer diagnosis, which she made public at the end of March.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, provides an emotional surprise
On the evening of June 14, 2024, Kate made a special announcement: she will attend Trooping the Colour. In an emotional post on social media, she addressed her fans and explained: “I’m looking forward to attending the King’s birthday parade with my family this weekend and hope to make a few public appearances over the summer, but I know I’m not out of the woods yet.” People have been waiting for these words for months. How wonderful that the big day has now arrived – and Charles is getting what is probably his best birthday present.
An emotional performance
With the support and assistance of her children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, as well as her husband Prince William, 41, Catherine travels to Buckingham Palace, where the birthday parade starts.

It is a first glimpse that viewers can catch. The Princess of Wales is wearing a white dress with a matching hat. In other photos, she can be seen with a relaxed expression. The first pictures show the family together before the 42-year-old and her children drive in the carriage towards the “Horse Guards Parade” and Prince William takes part in the parade.
