During his appearance at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, little Prince Louis was noticed for his bad behavior. Despite this – or perhaps because of it – a Norland nanny praises Catherine, Princess of Wales, for her parenting style.

Prince William, 40, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41, are supported by Norland nannies in raising their children Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, like generations before them. The training to become a nanny from this renowned agency takes four years and costs around 17,000 euros, according to “Hello Magazine”. Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo was chosen by the Waleses to look after their children. Her colleague now also praises Kate’s parenting style.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, brings up ‘perfect’

You’d think the royals would rather leave this task to their servants, but Sarah Carpenter reveals just how big an influence Catherine has had on her children. Because at the platinum throne jubilee of Queen Elizabeth, †96, her youngest, Prince Louis, attracted attention with his cheeky behavior. Observers not only reacted with amusement to the Mini-Royal’s faxes, there was also a fair amount of criticism.

“It’s so sad that people talk about it negatively because actually it’s more reassuring that she’s obviously the perfect parenting and makes the little boy feel like he can behave like that,” explains the former Norland nanny in A Right Royal Podcast”.

She continues: “And that’s what you’d rather see than a child who doesn’t feel comfortable in a situation.” Louis, Charlotte and George were obviously content and happy at this special public event, notes Sarah Carpenter. “I just thought it was nice to see what lovely children they are.”

As a nanny, you can’t take all the credit for bringing up your kids, you have to work with the parents and follow their parenting style, Carpenter said. It is well known that William and Kate are loving parents who love spending time with their children. At public events, they regularly rave about joint ventures with their three royal rascals.
