The third child of Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip is not yet born, but speculation about his godparents is already underway. Will Prince Daniel of Sweden be given a special honor this time?
According to the magazine “Svensk Damtidning”, Princess Sofia, 36, and Prince Carl Philip, 41, are more free to choose the godparents for their third child than for Prince Alexander, 4, and Prince Gabriel, 3. The number of godparents is clear However, the newspaper is almost certain: this time there will be five again, and the criteria are also clear: Siblings, cousins and closest friends are shortlisted.
As for Princess Sofia’s sisters, Lina and Sara Hellqvist are already godmothers of Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel, respectively.
