Princess Sofia has only one appointment in her calendar

Princess Sofia, 39, is very popular in Sweden, but is far less visible than the other members of the royal family. As a mother of three small children, the wife of Prince Carl Philip, 45, has a lot to do. She also works in the background on her charitable projects, the Swedish court once explained. This leaves the royal with even less time for public appointments. Appearances like the one at the side of her lover with little Prince Julian, 3, in the Duchy of Halland in mid-June are rare.

Much to the disappointment of her fans, nothing will change for the time being. A look at the official calendar of the Swedish royal family shows only one entry for Princess Sofia. According to this, she will take part in the celebrations for the birthday of her sister-in-law Princess Victoria, 46, on July 14. A small ray of hope for all those who would like to see more of the 39-year-old.

Prince Christian’s school publishes new photos from graduation

“It probably didn’t go unnoticed that we had a visit from the press on the last day of school this year,” commented the Ordrup Gymnasium on a post on Facebook, which published new photos of the Danish royal family. Because Prince Christian, 18, celebrated his graduation from high school on June 24, his entire family visited the school – and also made a small press appointment with photographers and journalists possible. With their post, the school wants to show how they perceived the media hype surrounding the heir to the throne and at the same time give royal fans a whole new perspective on Christian’s graduation day.

Many of the photos show Christian, King Frederik, 56, and Queen Mary, 52, from behind talking to journalists. A particularly beautiful shot captured the moment when the 18-year-old is engrossed in an interview while dad Frederik is laughing wonderfully heartily about something in the foreground. Another photo also expresses Christian’s joy at having achieved his milestone: With a big grin on his face and two thumbs up, he beams at an unknown woman.

Queen Camilla: This is why Empress Masako wore a face mask next to her

On June 25, the Japanese imperial couple’s multi-day state visit to Great Britain began: Emperor Naruhito, 64, and Empress Masako, 60, were greeted by Prince William, 42, among others, and then rode through London in a carriage alongside King Charles, 75, and Queen Camilla, 76. The Queen and Empress appeared in matching outfits: Both women opted for white looks at both the reception and the state banquet in the evening. Masako also wore a rather unusual accessory during the carriage ride: The Empress smiled at the people around her from behind a face mask. At the reception, just a few minutes earlier, she was not wearing the mask.

“Hello Magazine” now explains why the 60-year-old suddenly appeared wearing a mask: Empress Masako suffers from a chronic allergy to horse hair. The mouth and nose protection served as a preventive precaution; the carriage in which Masako and Camilla sat was not only pulled by horses, but also accompanied by riders.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi remembers his deceased stepfather

For Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 40, June 25 is not an easy day. The husband of Princess Beatrice, 35, lost his beloved stepfather on this date 13 years ago. Conservative politician Christopher Shale was the second husband of Edo’s mother Nicola “Nikki” Williams-Ellis and died in 2011 at the age of 56 from an undiagnosed heart condition while attending the Glastonbury Festival.

In his Instagram story, the 40-year-old shares a photo showing his stepfather smiling with a large paintbrush in his hand. “Miss this one today. I can’t believe it’s been 13 years. I love you, Dad,” he writes in the photo. Edoardo made it clear on the tenth anniversary of Christopher Shale’s death that the two had a close relationship. “Being your stepson was the greatest honor of my life,” he said in 2021 about a series of photos taken together.

Lady Sarah Chatto: She continues the legacy of her mother Princess Margaret

It is no secret that Princess Margaret, †71, loved ballet and often travelled to the West End to see stage shows. In 1957, she also became the first president of the ballet company, while Queen Elizabeth II, †96, took over as patron. After her passing in 2002, King Charles became the patron of the Royal Ballet School and now Princess Margaret’s daughter Lady Sarah Chatto, 60, is following in her footsteps.

An announcement on the Royal Ballet School’s official website states: “Having served as Vice President since 2004, Lady Chatto has now taken on the prestigious role, succeeding His Majesty King Charles III, who has become Patron of the Royal Ballet School.” Lady Sarah Chatto has always been an advocate of the arts, having studied art at the Royal Academy Schools. A professional painter, the King’s cousin is also Vice President of the Royal Drawing School and Patron of the Frederick Ashton Foundation.

Princess Leonor and Princess Sofìa travel to London for Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift, 34, is the biggest pop star the world currently has to offer. Wherever the American appears, there is ecstasy – even among the royals. After the pictures of Prince William, 42, and his children at the Swift concert on June 21, 2024 went viral, more and more prominent visitors to the shows at Wembley Stadium became known. In addition to the members of the British royal family, Princess Leonor of Spain, 18, and her sister Princess Sofìa, 17, were also spotted in the audience, as “Dana Press” reported, citing the Spanish daily newspaper “La Razon”.

Leonor and Sofìa are said to have traveled to London for the concert with their friends. However, because it was a private trip, the royal security team asked that no photos of the sisters from that evening be published. In fact, not a single photo of the princesses from that evening can be found on social media.

Around three weeks earlier, Taylor Swift even performed in Madrid, but at the end of May, heir to the throne Leonor was still in her first year at the military academy in Zaragoza and Sofìa had to attend classes at the Atlantic College Wales in Great Britain. In keeping with the summer holidays, the daughters of King Felipe, 56, and Queen Letizia, 51, treated themselves to a special city trip.

Princess Beatrice’s husband celebrates with Taylor Swift after Prince William

Fans of Taylor Swift, 34, celebrated for two nights at her concerts in London. In addition to Prince William, 42, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9, other members of the British Royal Family are also Swifties: As the husband of Princess Beatrice, 35, himself shared on Instagram, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 40, is also part of what is probably the largest fan club in the world.

Although there are no exuberant dancing shots of Edo like there are of Prince William, other details suggest that the British entrepreneur enjoyed the concert just as much. In his story, he posted a photo of Wembley Stadium illuminated by countless lights from numerous fans. The upper tiers shine in a red tone, and Swift is standing on the stage with a guitar and singing. The singer is only small from a distance and is surrounded by a golden light. Apart from the photo, Mapelli Mozzi does not share any further details and leaves the snapshot uncommented. It is clear: At that moment, something completely different was important: the concert!
