Lindwall, 52, nobility expert and editor-in-chief of the Swedish newspaper “Svensk Damtidning”, reports in his 2012 book “Madeleine – prinsessan private”, several members of the royal family were anything but well disposed towards Sofia. “At the same time, I learned that Crown Princess Victoria could also be irritable towards Sofia Hellqvist. It goes on to say that Princess Victoria is known as a “very protective person” and it was this very trait that led her to always side with Carl Philips in discussions with Sofia. “Carl Philip was the weakest of the siblings, and Victoria had repeatedly had to look after him and stand up for him over the years.
