Before Princess Sofia married Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, she had one or two experiences that would set the stage for her new life as a member of the royal family. However, a new interview from a reality TV star is now making people sit up and take notice.

Reality TV shows and revealing photoshoots: Before Sofia Hellqvist became Princess Sofia of Sweden, 37, she lived a life that didn’t conform to royal family protocol. Nevertheless, Prince Carl Philip, 43, fell in love with the beautiful Swede, in June 2015 they officially became husband and wife. Three sons then crowned their happiness in love.

Wild party rumors about Princess Sofia

After her somewhat bumpy start at the Swedish court – Sofia had to work hard to gain the reputation of the people – she is now considered to be the most hard-working member of the royal family alongside Princess Victoria, 45. Dutifully, Sofia keeps appointment after appointment, supports her sister-in-law in any way she can, and effortlessly smiles at every headline. Because although the 37-year-old has been a permanent member of the family for seven years and has repeatedly emphasized in the past that she has nothing to regret from her youth, but “such photos [heute] wouldn’t do it anymore”, new rumors keep popping up about their supposedly wild past. Above all, there’s always talk of boisterous parties.

Reality TV colleague defends Sofia

But what about the wicked headlines? In a recent interview with Illu “Hänt”, Robert “Robban” Andersson, 48, now talks about his partying experiences with today’s princess. Andersson became known for his participation in the reality show “Robinson”, around the same time that Sofia starred in the TV format “Paradise Hotel”. At that time, both of them celebrated together several times in the clubs on Stureplan, Stockholm’s party mile. “I have some fond memories of celebrating at Stureplan,” says Robert “Robban” Andersson.

“I also met Princess Sofia at the time, she wasn’t a princess then. She was pretty serious, even then. She was never one of those people who jumped on the table and drank tequila. She was very focused on her work even then.”

He also explains that while he didn’t know Sofia well, she was going out a lot around the turn of the millennium, like him, so we knew each other by sight. Today, however, he would like to go out with Prince Carl Philip and have a beer, reveals Andersson.
