Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are among the closest confidants of Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit, but will they travel to Norway for the crown prince couple in August?
Norway’s crown prince couple celebrates a big birthday party
A special celebration to which Mette-Marit and Haakon have certainly invited numerous royal friends, right? Royal fans will probably first think of Princess Victoria, 46, and Prince Daniel, 49, the Swedish Crown Princess and her husband have been very close friends with their Norwegian colleagues for years and have already spent one or two holidays together.
However, the couple does not want to make a firm commitment yet. The information secretary of the Swedish court, Ulrika Näsholm, told “Svensk Damtidning” that she had no information on whether and who would attend the Norwegian crown prince couple’s birthday party. Näsholm referred to the official calendar on the Swedish royal family’s website. This is already well filled for August, but on closer inspection around August 25 there is a noticeable gap. So Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel would have time for a trip to Norway.
Are Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel traveling to Norway together?
So takes Crown Princess Victoria on August 23 together with König Carl Gustav, 77, attends the Stockholm Water Prize seminar, Prince Daniel, 49, attends an SNS Tylösand conference on the same day. While Daniel is expected to visit Gnosjö with his Prins Daniels Fellowship on August 28th, the Crown Princess could even stay in Norway until August 31st before she has to celebrate the Östersjöfestivalen in Stockholm’s Berwaldhallen concert hall.
