For Prince Oscar, the serious side of life will start in the near future: He will start school in a year. This is a cause for concern for Mama Princess Victoria.

Princess Victorias, 44, the youngest child, Prince Oscar, 5, has only one year left in kindergarten before starting school in the fall of 2022. This big step in the little royal’s life is cause for concern for his mother. Because even when her daughter Princess Estelle, 9, started school, the Crown Princess had imagined differently.

Princess Victoria: A big decision is imminent

Princess Estelle has been attending the “Campus Manilla” elementary school in the Stockholm district of Djurgården for three years. The beginning of her school career apparently went hand in hand with some hurdles – at least from the point of view of Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, 48. The media hype about her daughter’s start to school had given Victoria a lot of trouble. Therefore, she wants to wait as long as possible before announcing Prince Oscar’s school election, as the Swedish newspaper “Hält” reports.

“They were desperate and sad what a storm had broken out around Estelle’s school campus Manilla. At the same time, they were glad that Estelle liked the school so much. But the negative headlines always weigh on them,” writes the Swedish magazine.

What school will Prince Oscar attend?

Even if they are probably delaying the announcement, Victoria and Daniel are certainly already thinking about which school they will send their son to next fall. For logistical reasons alone, it is conceivable that Prince Oscar would keep his sister company on the Manilla campus.

Since neither Oscar nor Estelle visit their training centers without a bodyguard, personal protection has a say. Alternatives would be the Carlssons School in the Östermalm district or, of course, a school in the Solna district, which is near Haga Castle. It remains to be seen where the Mini-Royal will go to school in the future.
