Priscilla Presley: This is how the family suffers from the death of the Elvis grandson

On Facebook, Elvis widow Priscilla Presley mourns her recently deceased grandson Benjamin Keough. The shock is "devastating".

Benjamin Keough (1992-2020), the grandson of Priscilla Presley (75), died a little less than two weeks ago. The widow of Elvis Presley (1935-1977) now explains on Facebook how much the death of the only 27-year-old took the whole family with him – especially her daughter Lisa Marie Presley (52), the mother of Benjamin, and his father Danny Keough (55).

According to Priscilla Presley, these are some of the "darkest days in my family's life. The shock of losing Ben is devastating." The questions of why have penetrated her soul. "Every day I wake up, I pray for it to get better."

For Lisa Marie Presley, Ben was "the love of her life"

Then, however, she had to think of her daughter Lisa Marie and the pain she felt. She was downright fond of her son Benjamin. His father Danny was "completely lost" because his only son was no longer there. Actress Riley Keough (31), Benjamin's sister, was also very close to her brother and Lisa Marie's eleven-year-old twin daughters Harper and Finley "loved him dearly". Navarone Garibaldi (33), Benjamin's half-uncle, was also struggling with the loss. "Rest in peace, Ben. You were loved," Presley concludes.

Shortly after Keough's death, a spokeswoman for Lisa Marie Presley "CNN" had already declared that she was "completely broken, heartbroken and devastated". However, she tries to stay strong for her twins and daughter Riley. "She adored this boy. He was the love of her life."
