Thousands of customers

Questioned by MoneyVox in April 2021, Dorian Cauvas, co-founder of Prismea, indicated that the bank had several thousand customers, including 30% had opened an account through the Crdit du Nord branches.

We will remain mobilized, throughout this new year, to develop our online pro account and to simplify the daily lives of managers and their teams, announced Prismea on the networks last January.

Fate, however, decided otherwise. Since October 21, 2022, Prismea ceased its activity. Asked by the MoneyVox editorial staff as to the reasons for this closure and the future of Prismea’s customers, Credit du Nord did not respond.

The announcement comes as the merger of the Socit Gnrale and Crdit du Nord groups, announced at the end of December 2020, continues. In total, 157 agencies Socit Gnrale and Crdit du Nord should close in 2023, out of a total of 650 planned by 2025.

Site closures are accompanied by job cuts. In total, 3700 positions should disappear by 2025 as part of the merger, of which 900 from next year, according to information from West France.

In addition, from January 1, 2023, the banking rates applied to the 9 million individual customers of Socit Gnrale and the Crdit du Nord group will be similar. And for the latter, many tariff lines will decrease.
