Private Division will publish the next games of Die Gute Fabrik (Mutazione), Evening Star, Piccolo (Arise) and Yellow Brick

Private Division just got out OIliOlli World (available from €29.99 on Amazon.co.uk) and even announced the acquisition of Roll7 in stride. He wants to continue expand its catalog of indie games with 4 new partnershipsin line with those signed with Moon Studios (Ori) and League of Geeks (Armello).

He has indeed just announced that he was going to publish the next games of Die Gute Fabrik (Mutation), Evening Star (new studio based in Los Angeles by Christian Whitehead and alumni of sonic mania), Piccolo Studio (Arise: A Simple Story) and Yellow Brick Games (new studio led by Mike Laidlaw and alumni ofUbisoft). They work respectively on a narrative title, a 3D action platformer, a new license and a new Action RPG ambitiousand all expressed their joy in working with Private Division.

Die Gute Fabrik was founded in 2008 by Nils Deneken and is now run by its Managing and Creative Director Hannah Nicklin. This Copenhagen studio, which mainly develops narrative games, is best known for Mutazione, a gossip-supernatural mutant soap opera that won awards at the IGF and Indiecade 2019. Die Gute Fabrik draws its inspiration from a large number of disciplines and stories to push the boundaries of what video games can be. The studio is currently creating a new narrative game.

Evening Star was founded in 2018 by Christian Whitehead, Dave Padilla, Tom Fry, Hunter Bridges and Brad Flick. Based in Los Angeles, the studio has branches in London and Melbourne. The founders previously worked on the famous Sonic Mania Plus for SEGA. Their first title, not yet announced, is a 3D action platformer which will use their own Star Engine.

Piccolo Studio was founded in 2015 by Alexis Corominas, Jordi Ministral and Oriol Pujado, three friends who left their advertising agency in Barcelona to pursue their passion for video games. After recruiting many talented Spanish developers, studio Piccolo’s first title, Arise: A Simple Story, received critical acclaim for its storytelling and mechanics. They are currently developing a new single license in partnership with Private Division.

Yellow Brick Games was founded in Quebec in 2020 by industry veterans Thomas Giroux, Mike Laidlaw, Jeff Skalski and Frédéric St-Laurent B. After participating in many successful AAA series like Dragon Age, Assassin’s Creed and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, the members of Yellow Brick Games seek to shape experiences with innovative mechanics designed by a small but very talented team. The studio firmly believes that emergent systems, where the whole is more than the sum of its parts, bring rich and interactive worlds to life. Following this principle, Yellow Brick Games is currently designing an ambitious new Action-RPG.
