Priyanka Chopra recently sparked a wave of breakup rumors. But now the actress is posting a sweet couple snapshot and dedicating emotional lines to her husband Nick Jonas.
Just recently, fans feared Priyanka Chopra, 39, and Nick Jonas, 29, had split up. The reason: The actress had renamed herself on her social media accounts and removed her husband’s last name. Now, however, Priyanka should clear up those speculations, because she posts an intimate couple photo with her Nick – and makes him a declaration of love.

Thanksgiving was celebrated in the United States on November 25, 2021. Traditionally, people think about this holiday and remember what they are grateful for. To mark the occasion, Priyanka Chopra posts a picture of herself and Nick Jonas, with whom she has been married since May 2018. The snapshot shows the two sitting on the couch in a deep embrace.
“There is so much to be thankful for. Friends, family … I love you @nickjonas,” she writes. How nice! Nick Jonas also takes the opportunity to make a declaration of love for his wife. He shares the same photo and captions it, “Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thank you for you @priyankachopra.” The apparently still happy couple should thus silence the rumors of separation.

The 39-year-old had made changes on her social media accounts. On Instagram, she removed the surname “Jonas” in the account name and description, which she also adopted after the marriage. But not only that, she also deleted her maiden name “Chopra”, so that only “Priyanka” can be read in the description. Also on her Twitter profile only her first name is emblazoned in capital letters.
This action sparked a veritable wave of breakup rumors on the part of their fans. The fact that Priyanka neither announced nor commented on this move seemed to intensify fan concern. Numerous users spoke up on Twitter, shocked. “Nick and Priyanka? What the hell is going on right now?” Wrote one user, while others seemed certain the couple had filed for divorce.

A close friend of the actress’s circle of friends gave India Today the all-clear. “She has not only removed ‘Jonas’, but also ‘Chopra’ from social media,” emphasized the unnamed source – and promptly provided a reason for the renaming.
“These divorce rumors are really amusing. Priyanka uses her first name because she wants to use it in her future projects. There’s nothing to all of the speculation.”
