Since MagentaTV itself confirmed a disruption on Monday evening, users have repeatedly reported new program failures. This might be how you can solve the problem!
On Monday evening, MagentaTV customers across Germany reported problems with their television programming. According to Telekom, the disruption was resolved around 8:30 p.m. the same evening, but some users were still struggling with restrictions on Wednesday.
The message “Playing not possible” is displayed when you try to play the currently running TV program. This seems to mainly affect users who use MagentaTV via the Smart TV app.
However, TV playback via the MagentaTV app on Apple TV devices should be possible, so perhaps you can simply use an alternative set-top box such as a Fire TV Stick – if possible. You can follow the current status of the disruption on our disruption map.
